It seems that the folks at Jeep (Stellantis) can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to recalls. Just a month ago, the company announced a recall for the Grand Cherokee L due to an issue with its high beams, affecting a little over 7,000 units. This time around, the scale of the recall is much larger, and it involves nearly 100,000 vehicles.

This time, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has the uneasy task of defending its turf against the BMW X5 M Competition and Range Rover Sport SVR. All three SUVs are the top versions of their regular counterparts, but who is going to come out on top?

The Wheels YouTube Channel regularly put out videos on some really interesting cars going head to head at the drag strip. They were back at the Bandimere Speedway, in Morrison Colorado, and on this occasion, they had a Toyota Supra take on a tuned Jeep Grand Cherokee and a BMW M3.

Although the performance SUV doesn’t really make any sense whatsoever, it is an entity that continues to be popular and exists. Automakers will keep churning out such vehicles until there is a demand for them. For some people, the performance SUV really is all the car that they’d ever need.

Which one amongst these family haulers from Stellantis is quickest, remains a hot topic, and what better place to find out than at the drag strip. The Wheels YouTube channel put out a video of the popular Dodge Durango Hellcat, take on a fourth-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and yet another Dodge Durango, but this time it’s the SRT model.

Jeep is all set to debut an all-new seven-seater SUV, the 2022 Jeep Commander, for the Brazilian market. From a clip leaked online, on first appearances, the SUV looks like a longer Compass. It also appears that Jeep’s newest SUV shares a lot of oily bits, with the Compass.

There are a lot of 6x6 trucks in the market today. You’ve got iterations of the F-150 Raptor, and Ram 1500 TRX that have been given an extra axle and a pair of wheels. However, Jeep Gladiator seems to be a popular option amongst aftermarket companies for this mod. We’ve seen builds from Apocalypse Manufacturing,So-Flo, and even the Rezvani Hercules, and now we have another entry to this Gladiator-based 6x6 truck by Next Level Offroad.

The California-based company has come up with a build of its own. It doesn’t look as monstrous as the others and is actually one of the cleanest builds we’ve seen.

After being in production for three decades, Jeep sent the Wagoneer nameplate into exile. There were hushed talks about its revival in the better half of the last decade. Finally, in 2020, the company unveiled a concept SUV with this revived moniker, albeit with the ‘Grand’ prefix. Six months later, the company revealed that the yesteryear badge will be stamped on two SUVs – one called the Wagoneer and the other, the Grand Wagoneer.

The Wagoneer is the mellowed-down, less-luxurious version of the Grand Wagoneer. It comes with a different engine, fewer tech features, but retains the same brobdingnagian size and dimensions. Does it have enough firepower to beat its American rivals?

The Jeep Gladiator was one of the most anticipated vehicles for a very long time. Jeep had revealed the Gladiator concept back in 2005 but took almost 14 years to roll out the production model. But, we finally had a Jeep-branded truck after three long decades. The truck was launched with much pomp and show and it caught a lot of attention. While special editions are a nice thing to have, an overdose of them isn’t taken too well. Not long ago, Jeep introduced anniversary editions on many of its vehicles, and now, it has come up with another one for the Gladiator. This one is called the Gladiator Willys. Willys models in Jeeps have a different fan-base altogether, so we’ll let Jeep off the hook for this one. The pickup truck comes with a lot of off-road equipment in this edition, and it will be an exciting one for the folks who found the standard Gladiator a little too plain-Jane as per Jeep’s standards. Will this qualify to become a standard trim in the future?

But, it seems like the company is hell-bent on getting out of this mold and let customers know that Jeep can build luxurious, tech-savvy vehicles too; case in point is the recently unveiled Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept.

The company released this luxurious SUV and it is loaded to the gills in terms of cabin features and creature comforts. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer didn’t just slap a big touchscreen on the center console to prove its point, but went ahead and equipped six more all around the cabin. However, keep in mind that this is a concept and not all the screens may be carried over.

The Grand Wagoneer Concept looks every bit like the production model that we can expect to see in dealership showrooms in 2022. But 2022 is still a ways away, and as we wait for the production-spec Grand Wagoneer to arrive, we can spend that time admiring all the renderings that have already been released, a lot of which show the hulking SUV in different forms and functions.
