• Classic Volkswagens Make Some Light For Christmas

The T1 and the classic Beetle make show on the streets of Hanover

For many people out there the name "Volkswagen" is associated with the name "Golf." But, for the real Volkswagen fans it is the classic cars that make them nostalgic. Cars like T1 or the classic Beetle make many hearts beat faster.

So, why not feature them in the latest "Twinkle Light Cruise?"

So, what exactly is "Twinkle Light Cruise?" It is a tradition started by Volkswagen three years ago during which a bunch of classic and new cars are literally making light on the streets of Hanover, Germany. And why bringing both the classic and modern together? Well, because Christmas is about sticking with traditions, going back home, visit your family, but also about embracing new traditions every year.

This year’s Twinkle Light Cruise star was the T1. We can see a lot of these models wrapped in lights from top to bottom cruising on the streets. Next to them, the T2 and the T3 are also making quite an appearance, but there are also a few new cars. And, because we need to stick to the traditions, what better way to do it than bringing some classic Beetles to the party?
