Hunt owners can now enjoy the same white glove ownership and service experience that Hinckley owners have loved for years.
In 2013, Hunt Yachts became a part of The Hinckley Company. It is a historic melding of two of the great influences, those of Henry R. Hinckley and C. Raymond Hunt, in American boatbuilding.

Hinckley has been building and servicing America’s finest yachts since 1928. Founded to build and care for the boats of the local lobstermen in Southwest Harbor, Maine, Hinckley quickly developed a reputation for unsurpassed quality and innovation. The years that followed saw the company building true classics of American yachting from the Bermuda 40 to the Picnic Boat. Each new Hinckley yacht carries with it the symbol, Talaria, which marks the swift pursuit of superior ideas. Today, Hinckley builds highly innovative, owner-driven, power and sailing yachts from 29 to 55 feet. Nine yacht care centers from Maine to Florida complete the Hinckley offering by providing service, refits, transportation and storage for a pinnacle ownership experience.

What they say

“The Hunt Ocean 63 is a boat designed by boaters, for boaters—particularly those looking to do long stays aboard. In my notes, I wrote, “You could stay here for a month.” With the interior volume, attention to detail, and slick and seaworthy hull, I have no doubt that you really could.”

  • Yachting Magazine

“What impresses me most about the Ocean series is how much collaboration goes into each build. The hull is designed, as it always has been, by Ray Hunt Design in Massachusetts. The boat itself is built in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The interior is created by Martha Coolidge in Maine, and it’s serviced and given the white-glove treatment by the growing East Coast powerhouse that is Hinckley. Oftentimes, having this many chefs in the kitchen is a recipe for disaster, but in the case of the Hunt 63, it comes together just right.”
